Take your French language experience to the next level by exploring the connection between heart, body and mind in this all-levels yoga series offered entirely in French for three sessions each term.
Learn or practice your French vocabulary as it relates to movement, breath and spiritual wellbeing. This series is a perfect add-on to your Extended Learning French classes. Get mentally and physically fitter while expanding your enjoyment of Francophone activities in Vancouver.
All levels of French and yoga are welcome, and classes are open to Extended Learning students as well as members of the UBC community, UBC’s Centre de la Francophonie and the broader French-speaking community. Donnez-vous un petit coin de paix et de connexion chez nous.
Language in Motion – French Yoga may be offered in a hybrid setting over Zoom or in-person at UBC Robson Square. In-person spaces are limited, so register early.

How am I assessed?
This is a non-credit course without letter or numerical grades. You receive verbal feedback on your conversation and grammar skills from your instructor during class. Written homework is typically corrected in class. Some lesson modules may include quizzes.
Record of completion
A record of completion will be emailed to students who participate and satisfy the course requirements within two weeks of the course end date. Course completion means 80% attendance and/or 80% completion of mandatory assignments.
